Features of coping behavior in injured athletes

Coping behavior plays a significant role in the recovery of an injured athlete. Identifying features coping can make invaluable contribution to development such problem as psychological rehabilitation The objective this study was examine athletes. sample consisted 279 professional athletes various sports, who, for purposes study, filled out following questionnaires: balanced scale life satisfaction (basic needs) and emotional state E.Diener COPE questionnaire designed measure situational strategies dispositional styles. Depending on gender, classification sport, number severity injuries, athlete gravitates towards different strategies. We have found link between general well-being positive reformulation, focus, humor.
